I am a 61-year-old Japanese, Michimaro Motohiro by name. I finished my 36-year career as a high school teacher at the end of March 1999, and I now lead a carefree life, walking with the dogs, taking care of potted plants, reading and writing haiku, playing tennis, etc. My wife, too, retired from her teaching profession in March. She enjoys walking and taking care of plants and flowers which please us in every season. We have two daughters, both of them living with us. One is a high school instructor of home economics. The other is a student of University of the Air. We have four dogs: A Samoyed, a German Shepherd Dog, and two mongrels. Our house is not so large and spacious, so keeping four dogs indoors makes us feel as if we lived in a kennel. |
