I live in Katsushika-ku, that is a city or ward in the eastern part of Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo, as it often said, is a vast stretch of badly laid-out towns with huge buildings and small houses jumbled up all around. It has a population of 11.8 million. Streets are narrow, people busily walk, and trains are very much crowded especially in the commuters rush hour. Located in the central Japan, Tokyo has the clear change of the four seasons. Spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons. In winter we have some snowfall. Summer is the worst season, for me at least. You feel as it you were in the tropics. The temperature is about 30-35 degrees centigrade in the daytime, and over 25 degrees even at night. The humidity is high and sometimes you cannot sleep well. |
